My parents are both expert gardeners, so you would have thought I would have learnt a trick or two, but no, I managed pretty mich all of your donts when I first started a garden.
Years later and I still bodge my way around the garden, much to my mums horror. #sharewithme

I’d hate weeding if I lived in Australia too, who knows what’s going to jump out and bite you! Maybe I need some chooks … we have two adopted wild ducks that hang out at our place but they prefer luncheon …

Oh I’d forgotten those BORING trips to the nursery when I was a young ‘un! I’ve only gotten into gardening the past few years. I started out with vegies in pots … then a vegie patch … then flowers in pots … and now a “real” garden with shrubs and everything!

I love my garden – it’s my happy place! Mowing the lawn is therapeutic. I know, I’m weird! I hate weeding though, bonus though is that the chooks eat the weeds when I get around to pulling them out 🙂

I am literally the worst gardener, okay, second worst after my mum. She can kill unkillable plants. My hubby, on the other hand, has a green thumb and understands the ins and outs of establishing a garden. I love when he does but I never feel the urge to get out there and join him!
