I have found my bliss!

I started doing a photo project to learn how to use my brand new DSLR camera. I bought it for taking better photos of the kids and decided that I needed to branch out, to experiment, to wander the city and see what I can find and in the process I feel like I have found my calling. I’m so excited! It’s been years since I had a passion, not since before mum died. And I can feel that sense of purpose, that ‘bliss’ stirring. Every weekend we go out on an adventure now to places that I can take photos. The kids are loving all the new experiences and for my husband and I who are notorious creatures of habit, it is just liberating to be doing something different. I’m still in the early stages but here are a couple of my photos so far and the theme that goes with them from the photo project I am doing,
